Pay rates for game developers
In Australia, when you are an employee the amount you get paid is set by an award unless you have a special employment agreement. In your award, you get paid different amounts depending on your academic qualifications, your experience, and whether you manage other people.
Some awards start at the minimum wage for beginners. As of 1 July 2021 the Australian minimum wage for people over 21 is $20.33 per hour, which is $25.41 for casuals because they get a 25% loading instead of holidays and sick leave.
